  • Hi and welcome to my latest lesson. Under the microscope this time is a man who needs no introduction. Iron Maiden guitarist, Dave Murray.

This lesson is aimed at beginners so expect to find simplified, manageable versions of Dave's trademark moves including hammer-ons and bends that lead to pull-offs.

Murray is also known for his distinctive tone and his fondness for using the neck pickup.

After memorising all the necessary parts to the lesson, work on making everything sound as smooth as you can. Are there any unwanted string noises or bends that don't quite reach pitch? Learning the parts is just the first step but the real magic happens in working on the details afterwards.

Enjoy this lesson and expect me to be back with more 'Made Easy' lessons soon!
