ps. Your lesson really sounds like that race game "Top Gear".
Welcome to GMC man! Very nice lesson!
And, I also decided to play the guitar when I watched Slash on "November Rain" )
Great playing man. Welcome.
HOW! Great lesson man! you are a great guitarist! welcome to GMC partner!
Awesome stuff man, great techniques here! Again - welcome to GMC
How do you get this good?!!!!
Did you practice 12 hours a day for like, years and years?!!
This might seem a silly question, but can you actually 'see' the notes and patterns on the fretboard as you're playing?
However you do it - it's truely awe-insiring dude!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome first lesson, Daniel
Welcome to GMC
Cool 1st lesson indeed.

Welcome Daniel! Great first lesson To me it sounded a bit like old school video game music too
haven't played that exact game but I checked out the music on youtube now and I hear the similarities
Very melodic!

Great first lesson Daniel!!
Great first lesson Daniel!
Welcome to GMC!
Hi Daniel, great tapping work my friend!!!
Great first lesson Daniel!
Very cool tapping
wow daniel, the spoken video was sick, you are really fast!
te felicito!
Hi Chokehold,
yeah, you have to be aware that it´s a seven string, sometimes students don t realize that and then they are like, ohhh, no wonder,
Excelente Daniel!
Amazing first lesson! Very original formulas on tapping!
Nice to see a seven string, I think I will try this one.
NewGuyatGMC,
Sure you can use this tapping technique to do some Dimmu Borgir style arpeggio, but on guitar! I hadn´t thought about that even,
Very good idea, I wonder if someone´s done it already,
(I don´t know why that question mark comes up)
Thank you Kaznie! I lived in the States for sometime, that´s where I learned, but it´s a little rusty nowadays, hehe,
Thank you Kristofer and Zsolt!
It´s nice to see the feedback. Coming from guitarists so talented as you guys, it´s great,
Some of the intro licks are so cool for black metal stuff.....I wish I was at level 8 damn...
Nice lesson Daniel! I really like the fact that you add in a talking lesson, which is great! Your English is also fine
Welcome to GMC, Daniel, nice to see another talented instructor here! I like this lesson very much, and your spoken video is just awesome
Great first lesson Daniel - I also really enjoyed your spoken video! Looking forward to see more lessons from you.
Daniel's intro thread can be found here.
Hi GMC! I'm Daniel and I have made a lesson on two-note per string tapping for you!
This is a similar way to play arpeggios to the way Michael Romeo from Symphony X plays them on some songs, except he uses three notes per string, and this makes a huge difference.
You can play any type of shape, mode or inversion of a chord with this technique, and also you can play many different note patterns, and at very fast speeds! (I included a faster than the lesson backing track for you to practice, you´ll see it´s not that hard)
Note that my guitar is a seven string, you can do the B major shape on the 7th fret on the 6th string, I think it can be a little more difficult, but certainly not impossible.
Notice that I am standing in this lesson, (practice like this).
I think it s important that as a guitar player you get used to play standing since this is the main position you´ll be at when on stage.
The music sounded to me a little bit like the old fashioned Super Nintendo game "Top gear" that's why I called the lesson "Race car two note per string tapping", and hence the race car intro :)
