  • Hi GMC! I'm Daniel and I have made a lesson on two-note per string tapping for you!
    This is a similar way to play arpeggios to the way Michael Romeo from Symphony X plays them on some songs, except he uses three notes per string, and this makes a huge difference.

    You can play any type of shape, mode or inversion of a chord with this technique, and also you can play many different note patterns, and at very fast speeds! (I included a faster than the lesson backing track for you to practice, you´ll see it´s not that hard)

    Note that my guitar is a seven string, you can do the B major shape on the 7th fret on the 6th string, I think it can be a little more difficult, but certainly not impossible.

    Notice that I am standing in this lesson, (practice like this).

    I think it s important that as a guitar player you get used to play standing since this is the main position you´ll be at when on stage.

    The music sounded to me a little bit like the old fashioned Super Nintendo game "Top gear" that's why I called the lesson "Race car two note per string tapping", and hence the race car intro :)
