This exercise has it all: String crossing in several directions, three note per string picking, melodic movement.

Master the diatonic pattern once and for all using systematic approach! In this lesson (which is the second in line) we will cover 3 note per string method. 3 notes on every string make 7 patterns starting from every note of the scale. If you want to learn to shred you just HAVE to learn this.

Lets go one step further and introduce more advanced pentatonic patterns. This part contains: Pentatonic patterns, alternate picking and string skipping exercises & CAGED shapes.

For beginners ready to move on from chord strumming. The exercise is prepared with harmonic content to make practicing more interesting.

My favorite way of alternate picking: Using even note groupings and downward pickslanting.

Third and final lesson of the Christmas rock serial. This solo is level 3, so we will be doing a couple of different techniques, and combine quarter and quarter note triplets in runs.
