I have a question on the Alexi Laiho lesson. You seem to hold the pick very lightly, with a lot of it exposed. Any reason you have adopted this? I tried to mimic the way you pick, and it does seem easier for fast-picked stuff, but I'd have to get used to it. Just wonder what your thoughts are on the topic, and if you do pick lightly, any comments on controlling the picking (meaning, it would be easy to miss some notes). Thanks!

Hi there welcome to this Alexi Laiho analisys Pt 2. As the previous one, we´ll focus on Alexi´s licks. This time I use some of his popular licks to create a solo in his style. We´ll use a several techniques as well. So, point is that you feel comfortable with these licks and then you add all this into your own style.
Remember: Is not so cool be a "copy" of someone else. But learn and look what are doing others guitar players can be really helpful to extending our vocabulary. So, if you are ready.
