This album review is in honor of Brad Delp (best known as the lead vocalist for the band Boston. Brad had been married and divorced twice in his lifetime and was engaged to Pamela (His girlfriend of several years) prior to his untimely suicide. Brad's electric vocals shocked people around the world.

Rip Brad Delp- You will be missed - (June 12, 1951 – March 9, 2007)

We've just lost the nicest guy in rock and roll.

Ok now onto the album. This album is easily one of the most memorable classic rock albums of the 70's and 80's. The album is a staple of classic rock radio stations playlists and when your on your way to your next baseball game, or to meet up at Mcdonalds with the wife for some lunch, turn the station and your bound to here some Boston. Boston delivered power licks and riffs as well as creative lyrics. The album was in the right place at the right time and boy did it show when it only took 2 months the RIAA Gold Record Award in 1976.

Note: Notice there is only 8 tracks on the album, showing that it doesnt take a 2 cd album to reach gold standards .

There is something about the lyrics that just gives you goosebumps everytime you hear them. Here is a excerpt from " More then a Feeling "

So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
as clear as the sun in the summer sky

Guitar Work on the Album The lead and rhythm gutiar on the album is the most exciting quality of the whole album, with simple solos and calm chord progressions the album was a hit recipe of success. The innovations of simplicity on the album led to other ablums doing the same methods.
