Brief Summary
Gary Moore an exceptional guitarist from northern Ireland, considered by many to be one of the finest Blues guitarists in recent years mixing old blues with original tracks, his early albums are Hard Heavy rock where Gary proves not only can he play with heart n soul but with with amazing speed and accuracy.
Short Biography
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 4th April 1952. He secured his first record deal in 1970 with his first band Skid Row, Gary had met Phil Lynott in Dublin and Phil Lynott was to sing with Skid Row shortly before this record deal was secured. Gary re united with Phil Lynott some time after and replaced Eric Bell in a Thin Lizzy line up. This was fairly short lived but was to return to Thin Lizzy in 1977 to replace Brian Robertson and then toured again with Lizzy in 1978. One of Gary Moores most famous songs is "Parisienne Walkways" which saw Phil Lynott guest with Gary and once again in 1985 Phil Lynott was to join Gary on "Out in the Fields" which was to be another hit single. It wasnt until 1990 that Gary released his "Still got the Blues" album where he was able to unleash his true creative potential. To date Gary continues with his solo Blues projects, having worked alongside such greats as Albert King, BB King and Albert Collins
