"Patton could very well be one of the most versatile and talented singers in rock music." -Greg Prato

What isn't their to say about the man, the myth and the legend. Michael Allan Patton was born in Eureka, California and in 1984 formed his first band called Mr.Bungle. An avant-garde / Metal / Rock / Polka / Jazz type band. They released a bunch of cassette demos until the first major release of the self title "Mr.Bungle" was released in 1991 which was produced by John Zorn.

In 1988 when the original singer of the band Faith No MOre was fired, Mike Patton filled those shoes and launched Faith No More in mainstream success with their hit "Epic". Faith No More soon to release 4 more major albums but never reached the success in the United States that their first CD The Real Thing.

During these years Mike has appeared on numerous projects from artists all over the world. Also lending his talents to movies and video games to creating and producing entire musical scores for some independent movies.

He has been lending his vocal talents to some video games and movies. He has been the voice behind such recent video games as "The Darkness", the new "Bionic Commando" and game entitled "Left 4 Dead" as creature voices. He can also be heard as the grunts, screams and growls behind the monsters in the movie "I Am Legend".

Mike has also appeared in his first acting role starring in the movie "Firecracker" which Robert Ebert said it was one of his top 10 movies in 2005. It won a Jury Prize nomination for Best Picture. It also won numerous awards including, Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Actress for Karen Black, and director Steve Balderson won the 2005 Domani Vision Award for emerging talent at Tribeca’s Visionfest.

Mike continues his on his journey to be one of the most multi-talented performers. Since his break up from Mr.Bungle and Faith No More, Mike has put together many other bands including Fantomas(with Dave Lombardo - Slayer drummer), Tomahawk, Lovage, Peeping Tom and has appeared and collaborated with 50+ artists and bands on various cd's.

He has reached an almost cult status amongst his fans (myself included) that he is one of the greatest performers out there.
