Introduction
Saul Hudson (Slash) was born July 23, 1965, in Stroke-on-Trent, England. He was born to Tony and Ola Hudson, and has a younger brother, Albion Hudson. Slash would call him Ash later in his years as Albion grew up. Tony, like Slash, was an artist, proud of his younger son for expressing his feelings through the arts. Ola, an African-American, was a famous fashion designer, modeling for famous musicians, actors, actresses, etc.
Biography
Growing up was not easy on Slash. At the age of just eight, his parents split, leaving him feeling vulnerable. When he was younger, he grew up in the outskirts of L.A., riding his bike everywhere. A group of friends and him played fun doing things like smoking cigarettes, weed, drinking, etc. He was even in a BMX magazine as an up and coming star to the BMX world. An avid young pro, sponsors were looking for him, and he hung out in a bike shop. Until one fateful day...
