Biography

With Vivian enlisted the line up was now complete, this line up would record three albums Holy Diver, The Last in Line&Sacred Heart. In 1986 creative differences forced Vivian to leave Dio.

In 1987 Vivian was asked to join Whitesnake fronted by the silky deep voiced David Coverdale, his stint with Whitesnake was short lived, after one tour he left whitesnake late in 1988 to seek a less hard rock, more bluesy venture.

Another short lived venture, Vivian was asked to produce the groups first demo, he was so impressed with the group that he in fact joined them on their first album, lack of support from the record label forced the group to go their seperate ways.

Break & songwriting

After leaving the Riverdogs Vivian took a break from touring and began writing songs for his solo project

1991 and Vivian was just about to enter the studio to begin work on demos for his album when Joe Elliot frontman of Def Leppard gave him a call, Def Leppards guitarist Steve Clark had tragically died and Vivian was asked to take the spot, having been a fan of the Band a chance to join such a huge group couldnt be missed, Vivian still plays for Def Leppard to date.

Solo Album

For 20 years Vivian has yearned to create an album of his own work, it is now released called "the Two Sides of IF"
