Hello everyone, I thought i just wanted to do a small review of last night concert in Horsens, Denmark with my all time favorite boys Iron Maiden mellow.gif I was lucky to get a position right in front of the stage and could see everything that was going on up there.
I been to a few Maiden concerts in the past but this show blew everything away. Not only did they play all their best songs through all time, the stageshow, the light, the flames on stage and explotion sounds was sooo awesome. Doing Rime of the Ancient Mariner's quiet part in the middle, there was a lot of smoke on stage to imitate fog and the big ship in the background looked real enough. And you could hear the boat moving from side to side and the light in the ceilling was moving as well. It was the highlight of the concert for sure. Apart from that all I can say is the sound was fantastic, the solos was great as allways, Bruce's voice is still amazing for sure and Steve and Nickos rhytm playing is still ever so tight. For those who did not see the show here is a list of the songs they played (sorry if some of the songs are not in the correct order, i didnt write them down along the way). Hope you liked this short review wink.gif

1. Intro: Churchill's Speech
2. Aces High
3. 2 minutes to midnight
4. Revelations
5. The trooper
6. The number of the beast
7. Can i play with madness
8. rime of the ancient mariner
9. Powerslave
10. Wasted years
11: Heaven can wait
12. Run to the hills
13. Fear of the dark
14. Iron Maiden
15. Moonchild
16. The Clairvoyant
17. Hallowed Be thy Name

posted wrong smiley on top, was supposed to be smile.gif ofcouse biggrin.gif

Unfortunatly i don't have any pictures at the moment because i didn't take any myself. However i know some people recorded songs with their cam and took some photos aswell, so far there is one song here on youtube for those who want to see.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vIQYlWYwqo

Maybe later there will be more, this one is pretty good quality sound actually

I think maybe they would have played 2 - 3 songs more if they didn't play Rime of the Ancient Mariner which is very long. However i were glad they played it, because it was the highlight of the concert for sure smile.gif

I saw them twice ...Once in Debrecen Hungary during Dance of Death tour and I was blown away! Such a great performance , I just love 'em!

Second time was here in Belgrade with their new album , but show wasn't impressive as much..(Due to bad sound in concert hall etc)...

I don't blame you, I got many bootlegs with them also from X-factour and Virtual XI world tour where Blazes performance sucks.

I thought Blaze was alright on the cds. Nobody can top Bruce as a Maiden frontman.

Though anything I saw with Blaze live was horrible.
