New Year's Resolutions, What are yours?

While they never really worked out for me in the last years, I decided to try it once again, cause this time I feel like I've got much more control over my life than in the past and I already started to do a few things, so it won't be a cold start on January, 1st. My resolutions are guitar and life oriented. Feel free to add yours! Practice at least one hour of guitar each day with a practice routine (AP, legato, one new lesson/song per week) Record an album with 10 songs, including vocals Finish a half marathon this summer Train for the half marathon 3 to 4 times a week Go to the gym 3 times a week Lose the gut (that's a classic, right ) Find a new/better job Spend quality time with my friends Get a tattoo (already got the date for it ) Resist any offers of coming back to her my Ex might make Try new things, be open minded, and enjoy life Since I am already practicing guitar with a plan for two weeks now, I already have recorded some stuff for an album and I am consistently working out and jogging for a couple of weeks now (despite the weather), I feel like I will really stick with my plans. I'll keep you guys updated (on the musical part of my plans, since the other stuff won't be too interesting for you I suppose). So, what are your plans for 2011? Like the tatoo was already set so 2011 is more or left safe I'm not making any for myself. Perhaps I'm too close to perfection ...or got too many flaws to even make it worth while to improve anything So perhaps my promise would be to not make any promises for the coming year. By this time next year I will have - finished my instrumental demo. - started up my new band and gotten that up and going. - gotten in better shape - been eating less red meat (for the environment) If I am exactly like I am now, but with those goals done, I will be pleased with the year. What happents if I fail? Of course, those are goals that I don't exactly plan on failing, but then I just add those to what my goals next year would be if I had made them.
