Today we're going to learn how to palm mute!
Palm muting will allow us to effectively alter the dynamics in our playing and will improve our skills immensely.
Tonality : We'll be using the key of D major.
Chord progression : D5, A5, B5, G5 (x6)
Equipment and Sound :
I used a Gibson Les Paul with humbucker pickups on the middle pickup setting, ran it into a Line 6 UX2 Studio and POD Farm. Used an emulated Vox AC30 amp and an emulated Tubescreamer. Then added compression, delay and reverb and recorded into Garageband. I also added a little more compression and reverb in Garageband.
Tuning : A 440 Standard
