  • This is my lesson today. Dave Micheal Murray born on 23 December 1956, Edmonton, London is an English guitarist and songwriter best known as one of the original members of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

    Murray's guitar style throughout his career has been mainly of the Legato based solo variety. This lesson working in rhythmic solo and the harmonizing of that solo including a riff solo in Dave Murray style.

    At the end we will feel how Iron Maiden usually in there playing step the scales in their songs. The key of this lesson in Db/C#.minor and the chords progression C#5/A5/B5/D#5.

    We will see bends, legatos, tremolos, vibes and palm mute.
