Introducing modern funk lead guitar concepts in this lesson. Although funk guitar is mostly about rhythm, there is certainly a good lead aspect as well, specially in the modern times. Not only is this modern aspect of funk lead playing good sounding in funk, but in many other types of music, blending with several other styles and pushing the boundaries into fusion music.

This is an example of how to mix Rhythm & Blues with Funk, or Funk with Blues feeling. I mix the 16th notes for funk feeling with the triplets for rhythm & blues feeling. You will find rhythm and solo parts here.
