Roythebattousai2nd June 2008Section 6 has me beat. This thing is really sweet, I want to learn it. And I've always wanted to learn those crazy Shred runs up the neck... This seems like a pretty good place to start. But... I've got one question:
Are you supposed to slide up to the notes

Zizi Top: i have no idea what i used here Really - i don't think in scales...There are some pentatonic/blues pieces, C# major, later Bb minor scale - for that huge shred run...and i think that's it

Finally, the next part of Rock Rhythm And Solo series named "Shreddy Rock Trip" is live and ready for you to check out! It was extremely interesting for me to create this one and I jammed over a backing track for hours once I finished composing this one. This solo will contain many different tricks and techniques: Alternate Picking, long shred runs, string skipping, legato, palm muting and more.
You may see artificial harmonics I play, but they are not tabbed because sometimes I do play them and sometimes I don't so it's up to you whether you want to play them or not. You can really spice things up with them so make sure you experiment with harmonics in this one ;)
I included 5 backing tracks at different BPMs to make practicing easier. Make sure you're relaxed while playing especially those long shred runs.
