NOTE*: SOME SONG TITLES MAY BE A BIT TOO GRAPHIC FOR SOME, THE WORST OF WHICH I HAVE COMPLETLEY REMOVED (The Uncreator)

Sound

9 Cannibal Corpse are know for there heavy, detuned guitars and the brutal riffage that comes with it. With Cannibal Corpse you wont find any soft songs, or acoustic like interludes, its all in your face heavy riffs, and they intend to spare no one in there killing spree.

Guitars

10 This collection covers all there best stuff. Pat O' Brien and Jack Owen (the guitarist who appear most often on this collection) are some of my favorite riff writers. Just when you think something cant get heavier, they do it, when you think it wont get faster, it does, they just keep the energy coming. Bottom line is, if you like fast, heavy, intense, technical guitar work aimed at the death metal fan, you wont be dissapointed, if your just getting into the Genre, i dont suggest starting here.

Bass

10 Alex Webster is without a doubt one of the most technical and talented bass players out there. His unnaturally fast fingers add a new dimension of heavy that few bands ever reach. From his quick out of nowhere interludes in some songs, to the pummeling rhythms of his riffs, The bass work constantly amazes me, just awesome!

Drums

9 Well do you want technical, fast, and seemingly inhuman drum work, if so, then this is it. Paul Wemsjhsjhashficia......ok so i have no idea how to spell this guys last name, but his drumming is awesome. If you like the drum work from the early death metal acts like Death, Obituary, Suffocation, then you should enjoy this.

Vocals

8 This massive collection features the vocals of Chris Barnes, and George Fisher. And they are both different in there executions. Barnes, has a very low growl, and doesnt hit the High screams as much as fisher, but his Growl is completely unique, you wont find another like it, His tone is very deep and rough. Fisher has a bit more diversity, by this i mean he hits those high Banshee screams a little bit more. (not that high of course, not like Black Dahlia Murder high or anything, just "Higher" ) and it adds alot more tension to his performace, like his opening scream in "Make The Suffer". Overall i prefer Fisher because his growls just are so much more evil to me, they sound more aggressive, and more upfront. Either way, both singers do amazing jobs.

Lyrics

7 Ok so we all know CC Arent deep thinkers when it comes to lyrics, its about Zombies eating people, killers, killing, Pits of Zombies, more Zombies, Death, Blood, and gore.....just look at the song titles, unfortunately due to GMC policy, i must refrain from posting exact lyrics, seeing as some of them are rather graphic. Basically, if you like the gore side of death metal, you will get a kick out of this, at points it even made me laugh. The focus isnt the lyrics, its how they are sang, and the music around it.

Overall Impression

8 Ok, so with 15 year killing spree, i recommend this to the CC Fan/ Death metal fan who wants a wide collection of there work without having to buy Every CD. I Paid a mere $50 USD For this. 3 Discs, and A DVD with 4 separate performances, all good quality, And on top of this it comes with a Biography of CC And a limited Edition Comic Book that only comes with 15 year killing spree. Great buy, and its an awesome collection from the Legendary Death Metal band
