This is perhaps one of the most beautiful lessons at GMC.
Amazing composition.
I've been scrolling past this lesson for a long time, but started playing it last night. Piotr, this is really just a beautiful piece and really stresses dynamics in playing. Another great one man.
This is beautiful! Very nice composition
By the way, if the link doesn't work, just copy it and paste in the search "box"
Hey again Piotr ! Almost done with this song, but I won't be able to post on REC as I don't have a camera... Please check out the forum

I composed the intro for a tribute song to Sweet Child o' Mine (Guns N' Roses) using the lick in your lesson at 0:49-0:50 !
Hmm, what can I say...It's not simple without click or drums. Just forget about notes and pauses for a while and try to feel the pulse. Should help
Piotr, whats the best way to work on the timing of this song? i think its not that easy, i find it hard to follow 16th pauses.
Can't believe I missed this...
That was awesome Piotr, very beautiful
You should do some piano lessons as well
This is perfect ! You play so beautifully, Piotr, and I swear you could sell this song as part of a famous movie soundtrack !
I must learn this !
Thank you, mates!
Simply amazing! The tone in this rocks.
Any plans to include the notes for the piano part, either separately or in the GP5 file?
Wow! Just..wow.
Thanks, Hisham and Emir!

Beautiful is the right word to describe the sound of this lesson:)
Awesome!
Another beautiful one from you, Piotr
Yes, perfect one Piotr
btw, who's a pianist ?!
You have a good sense of playing dynamics. Your vibrato, bending, volume, ect.., are all under control.
Wow absolutely beautiful Piotr - you have got it all down!
Hello GMC and welcome to my new lesson. This time we'll play with the piano accompaniment. Piano is an amazing and inspiring instrument, and together with guitar they make a perfect combination.
The lesson is inspired by a brilliant concert "An evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess" recorded on June 20, 2000 at the Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center in Nyack, New York.
The guitar line is easy to play, but remember! you have to focus on bends, vibrato and dynamics. Even a simple melody with appropriate phrasing may sound cool.
Solo part is built mainly on the major scale and minor pentatonic scale.
chord progression: C, D, C, D, e, D/F#, Eb/Ab, Bbsus, Csus
C, D, C, D, e, D/F#, G, E/G#, Asus
g, C, D
g, C, D
We are going to use:
- vibrato,
- bending,
This is the preset I used for the POD XT live for this lesson:
Amp: MS 2003 Deity Lead, Drive 8 - Bass 3 - Middle 7 - Treble 4 - Presence 5
Cab: 4x12 1968 Green 25s
Dly: Digital delay, Delay Time - 120 (quarter note) - Mix 28%
Rev: Medium Hall - Mix 35%
The lesson is available in the guitar pro 5 file, backing tracks included.
Have fun!
Piotr
