Beautiful tone and melodies - awesome first lesson Ivan. Welcome once again!
Here is Ivan's introduction topic.
This lesson is focused on soloing over a non-diatonic major or suspended sus2 chord within an otherwise diatonic chord progression. The basic rule you can follow is to play in the Lydian scale based on the root note of the non-diatonic chord over that chord only.
This is a concept that I'm using very often in my own songs!
In this particular lesson we've got a chord progression in G major with 2 non-diatonic chords which are Bb major and Eb sus2. So, over the Bb major chord, we'll play in Bb Lydian and over the Eb sus2 will play in Eb Lydian.
