Cool man, great lesson, love drean theater.
Sweet! Thats a fantastic tone you have there David. Unfortunatly my budget doesnt allow for a 7-string any time soon. I'll try to adapt some of the ideas to my 6 string though.
NIce guitar btw!
Excelent lesson I wish have a 7string-guitar !!!
Great riff David, must get one with 7!!
This stuff is awesome David, Great Job!
I also want a 7 string gtr!
Awesome lesson! Too bad i don't have 7string (yet?). Btw, Dream Theater is playing live tomorrow here in Finland, and Im of course going to be there watching =p .
That's one cool 7-string! It could use some headstock work but the body looks great - IMO! There are so many different guitar designs, each one of them is cool on it's own!!!
Keep 7-stringing David!
Yeah, thats really cool man.
Wish I had a seven string...
This one is a very cheap instrument I got on Ebay. Only paid 100 dollars for it...
It's a Galveston. Not great but good enough for recording. :-)
i was watching and hearing the lesson and i started to love it... but then i realized that is on a 7-string guitar
anyway excellent lesson
You guys should tune down to B-E-A-D-G-B. You can practice that way and somewhat get the tone.
yaaa dream theater!
Soul Decision: Great advice!
Wish i had a 7 string even more now
I'm still learning the 6 string so I'll wait a few more years until I buy a 7 string. Sounds great though.
Whew! I missed this lesson before. Great stuff right here!
''I'm still learning the 6 string so I'll wait a few more years until I buy a 7 string. Sounds great though. '' That's a bad way of thinking. A 7 string is just a 6 with an extra string! That one string alone opens up many arpeggio/chord/riff possibilities. I think every guitar player should own a 7.
awesome 7 string!.... i see u have the early ozzy look in the main vid... (hope im not insulting u)
hey great lesson sounds just like something they'd play im def. buying a seven string now
great tone and playing!
fantastic job David!!!!
Wow Great Lesson Man, and cool Sound too
i absolutely love the lesson
Cool lesson. Wish i had a seven string.
Is this in 5/4 time?!
This track is all in 4/4...
Not 5/4. :-)
The opening riff sounds a lot like "The Serpant's Kiss" by Symphony X... I really do like the riffing in this lesson though. I haven't had too many chances to play a seven string, just a cheap/low-end Schecter...
