Beautiful ! Reminded a little bit of Queen, but I'm probably talking nonsense !
Sounds awesome!!
john petrucci would not have played this better !very great
oh wait maybe I left it on another page either way I hope it helps everyone!
thanks for taking off my comment good compliment in disguise I guess I'm learning a bit to much?
Good.
Love this lesson, for some reason vid #5's sound seems out of sync.
are you petrucci?Or David???
Great lesson!!!!!!!
Hey, I just had time to analyze this one. Just like everyone else before me said. Brilliant melody. Fun. To. Play.
John, this is a beautiful piece. You have created a very memorable melody. I love songs where the notes seem to speak a language and have a definite mood or message. Yours totally does.
Question: the first run of triplets beginning at fret 19, well my guitar, an SG Epiphone, doesn't allow easy access down there. Is there anyplace else I could play a similar run? Thanks!
This lesson is gonna be bookmarked!! Loved it dude!
This is a brilliant little piece to learn. The small alternate picking run is a great way for me to practise AP without doing exercises over and over again.
Very nice my friend
Beautiful is all i have to say
Very nice Dave!!
Love it man, Petrucci is without a doubt one of my favourite players
Breathtaking, I love your melodic lessons. This is undoubtedly one of my favorites on GMC.
Superb solo!!!!
love ur stuff man!!!
Explanation video is reuploaded!
Wow what a great lesson David! Really nice melody!
great lesson.
The modulation is in video 3.
It happens very fast. It's more of a passing chord. I'm playing a C note as the 4th, which is an augmented 4th.. Can you hear it? :-)
nice
welldone walliman
Great "Dream" Solo
great lesson it sounds exactly like petrucci
Where is the modulation? In the video 6 you run the B Lydian which is 4th mode of F major which is the key you started in, so is that part not modulation yet?
Wow, you have captured the true essence of a Petrucci-like ballad.
Thanks so much everyone!
I'll re-upload the explanation vid asap!
Sorry about that. :-)
