  • Hi and welcome to my new lesson. This is a beginner solo looking at some of the traits of Zakk Wylde.

Zakk is known for his ridiculously wide and aggressive vibrato as well as his love for fast pentatonics and pinch harmonics.

We will be taking a basic look at all three of those elements but at a very manageable pace.

One thing that you will be making use of is something called alternate picking. If you haven't already encountered this then fear not - we have a beginner friendly introduction to this essential technique right here

When it comes to vibrato, I've also broken down them mysteries of this technique here.

Are you ready to get Wylde?
