Nick, what is exactly the problem ??? mmm I try to resolve it ...
Yeah! More tapping!
SWEET tapping is my favorite trick ever

THANKS AGAIN

Yeah, thanks for your coments

Really great, thanks, i need this kind of lessons
thats what a call taping great stuff!!!
How come theres no pull off signs in the vid? (im getting totally confused)
mmm, I don't have picks, but it is a very common thing...
ok ill try my best to find close to wat u have. would u be able to post a pic of them up close so i have a better idea.
Nick325: I don't know what's the real name, so I called them 'Hair Elastics'... I bought it in a druggist shop. It's the tipical thing that women use to hold their hair
how come that the last frets are the tree of life?
where did u get those "hair-elastics"??
Yes, I use a JEM Jr =)
Is that a JEM Jr?
Muchas gracias Gustavo !!! no te preocupes que ya habrá más lecciones de tapping jejeje
Me alegro de que te haya gustado =)
muy linda leccion
yo andaba necesitando un poco de tapping
gracias
Muchisimas gracias Gabriel !!! Me está gustando mucho el GMC !!!!!
Un saludo compañero
Hola Juan!! Muy buena leccion! Bienvenido a GMC!
gabriel.-
XD I supose you enjoy it !!!! Muahahaha Thanks a lot Leviathan !! = Levia-THANKS (oh, what a stupid joke, please don't kill me !!! XD)
Holy sh*t dude, that is crazy!
Don't worry I will do more tapping lessons using 2 fingers tapping. Next one is one of my songs, but in the 3rd lesson I try to do some cool tapping exercices
Ha ha alright Juan
- John
Eat-Sleep-andJam: mmm well, I do the tipical scale exercices (up and down the scale) but with the right hand hehe, it's a bit difficult but I like
Wait for my next lesson, one of my songs arraged for poliphonic tapping !!
Great job!
No Juan I just wanted to know if there was any excercises that applied to the tapping with the 2 and 3rd fingers
-John
Eat-Sleep-andJam: in the video I use fingers 2 and 3 to tap in the frets because I don't drop the pick, but you can also tap with fingers 1 and 2.
(I cannot drop the pick because there was a riff with alternate picking before and I don't have time enough to put the pick in my mounth or wherever)
Awesome stuff!
Hey Juan, another Jem user on our fair site! Glad to have ya in the club. Jem555 i take it?
i there there is a JEM cult movement goin on...
How does that excercise apply to the tapping with two different fingers in the first video ?
-John
srry bout the redundency
hello rest of the night and great lesson Juan definently somethin 2 work on 2nite
Thanks Capn' Jef, I try to upload more stylistic tappings
Thanks for your coment
That was really a really stylistic tapping lick - which is hard to pull off these days.
Definitely spending some time with this one.
Eat-Sleep-andJam: Oh, you have problems with the double tap... mmm... Try to practice this simple patern: (in every string)
(t14)-12-(t14)-12=(t14)-10-(t14)-10 and repeat
and then go up and down in the scale (D Major for example...)
GuitarDude: yeah, thank you for visit myspace !! mmm the link is really broken and I don't know where I put the tab If I find it I give you the link, ok?
your the new EVH lol (tapping)
you have a really cool execise video on your myspace site can you please post the tab for it couse the link is broken
Woops its video 2 not 3 my mistake.
Juan Im trying this and my fingers physically dont tap that fast with the double tap thing in video 3. The other tapping licks arent bad, but the postioning of that one is just odd and hard to get up to speed, any suggestions or excercises I could do to get that up to speed ? And what ever your taking, give me some
- John
Excellent stuff, great tune and awesome soloing!
Thanx to all for your nice coments !!!
Nick325, those are my trincks:
1. To mute the strings I use two "hear-elastics" (mmm I don't know what's the translation to english).
2. To do the last note I use a ring, hehe, it's a trick that I copy to IA Eklundh, you can use your ring like it was a slide =)
Fire: the notes of the piano are wrote in the guitarpro tab, but if you want I can send you a jpg archieve with the score
Eat-Sleep-andJam: XD, great coment, I'm a pharmacist (that's true, I promise !!) so I recomend you to buy some drugs !!!
Thanx for your words
Pretty intense, I like it!
¡Bienvenido a GMC Juan!
Me gusta mucho su "tapping".
I hope you enjoy your stay here
Wow dude that was great
Ha ha theres so much tapping im getting a headache
Amazing first lesson. Im going to make a very bad joke right now.
"If there was such thing as the talent polic, youd be arrested "
- John
I like your tapping.
Welcome on GMC.
incredible! i must practice ths
Juan agradable de lección. where can u get those string muters u use. and wat do u use for that wierd harmonic at the end?
Great lesson
( asking for my sister : Can you share the notes from the background-piano line with her
?
Would be great!!
awesome lesson welcome to Gmc!
damn i got to get a ring:)
Crazy
Thanks Juan. This is quite a challange especially tapping with both 1st finger and 2nd. I'll work on this. Glad to have you here - your English is good! thanks for clearing up the tab for me too. Now I need to get a ring for my first finger!
Thanks Jeff !! yeah, there are a few mistakes in the notation, in fact the basic pattern is:
1. tap with right hand
2. pull of to the left hand
You must do a pull of with the right hand and "pinching" the string (or nipping the string, I don't know what is the correct translation...)
Thanx Andew, Muris, and Pavel, I'm very happy !! it was a hard work because I must learnt how to use the lesson editor but now I feel happy to share the lesson with all of you
Excellent first lesson!
Welcome!
Excellent lesson Juan!! I have question related to the tab and the tapping. The tab has a tap on every note. Video 2 looks like there is a pull-off between the taps. Like a tap on 19 and pull off to 16 and 14? I'm not an expert on tabbing so when tabbing this is it supposed to be that way?
I love the part where you slide your ring up to play the high note. Very original! Nice guitar too man!
Congrats on your first lesson! And very cool tapping!!
Awesome job Juan,great taps!!!
Nice guitar Juan, and great firts lesson!
hehe, thanx for the first coment !!!
I use these thinks to mute the open strings, hehe... it's a good trick =)
Cool first lessom Juan ! Can you tell me what or why you have those white things wrapped around your neck on the 5th and 7th frets ?
