Great lesson...Very creative...
Nevermind I get it, just had to look. Sorry
without a legden, that tab above makes no sense to me either. Is that how it is written in wallimans's tab or did you do a typo?
lmfao ballistic...
after finally getting to vid five my guitar has no strings somehow a window got broke......I cant find the cat ......and im not sure if thats the phone ringing or just my ears still.....IS the guitar cable supose to smoke like this........damm my hair is a mess..........I need a beer ......thanks for the work out great lesson
What key is this in?
A part is missing.
Between video 1 and 2 there should be another part where he uses the vib-arm the first time.
wow...this is great stuff!!! loads of great licks here!!! WOHO MAKES ME SO HAPPY!
I have a question about the tab on video 5 - its like this:
e|----------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------|
G|-2b---------2b--------------------------------
D|---4-2---------4-2----------------------------
A|-------4-3---------4-2*-----------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------|
shouldn't the 10th note in be a 3 instead of a 2? Maybe I'm seeing the video wrong?
Ooops one more question
1. Can you show more of your right hand picking technique? Are you holding a pick between your thumb and index finger or are you just using your fingers (ala Jeff Beck)?
Lessons of this genre would be GREATLY APPRECIATED (at least by me). 2 questions:
1. Will you ever post the tabs for the backing track?
2. Will this lesson be posted in Guitar Pro format?
-thanks
Awesome, dude!
Keep up the good work!
Im just starting to relize how kick ass this solo is .
A hint for instructors ? V
-BASED ON ALL THIS POSITIVE FEEDBACK LESSONS OF THIS GENERE AND STYLE WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED ,NO ?-
John-
and sry about the Caps spree up there
without a doubt the absolute best lesson on this website. kris you should make that the website opener the " ARE YOU READY?!"
jreniel: Ah I see what's missing now... I'll see if David can fix that for us...
That is one awesome solo!
Hey people! Great piece of learning material here! but the second part is still missing! =(
can i anyone post tabs for it? thx
that earlier was my first post.. i was so pissed off that i didnt say even hey, so i say it now
Hey!
I like this lesson veery much, learnt quite alot of it by now. Been in GMC for 3 days and loving it. Im first time able to play sometihing solo-like... awesome feeling...
Why doesn't second bend in second part sound right when I play it, any ideas?
There was only suppose to be 11 parts - fixed now!
Kristofer
the 12th video doesn't load for me. Does anyone else have this problem?
That was intense! gr8 job
hehe I thought I was the only one who noticed >_>
ok I cool down
hi,
Kris the part ezra is talking about is directly after part one. after he does finger tapping there is a small section of bending that is left out, i think he starts off on the 14th d string. and 15th fret on g string.. then uses the trem bar.. after that im not really sure.
btw - I am studying this right now, and I can't tell how much I love the bluesy descents here - especially the one in part 9! I like how it's phrased with a pause inthe middle.
So definately I agree - more, more more!
ezra: Yes please use a better language (!)
Can some one please clarify on what needs to be corrected?
is it just me or is everybody sleeping?
In the solo walliman plays something with a bend and a few notes which belongs between video 1 and 2 but I see it nowhere on the tab?....what the...?
sorry for my bad english
cool solo respect
Edit for language by rokchik
Im impressed. More, More,More!
possible to play video 1 with just legato ?
Awesome-John
Its all about how you use and apply it i think. theres good ways to do it, and bad ways to do it, this is an example of a good way to do it obviously
sorry i dont really understand this, how can you go from e pentatonic to f sharp phrygian and still make the solo sound good?
Wow, excellent lesson, as said. I hope you will teach us these awesome licks for a long time...
uh.... NICE!!!
Dear lord.
Thanks so much my friends!
As for the different video parts, Kris takes care of scheduling and uploaing the videos.
I send him all the lesson, then he takes care of puting it on the website...
that is really good, everything in GMC is GOOD!!
Now That! was a good lesson. First lesson I felt the need to reply to;)
sweet! awesome to have you here. i hope to see alot more lessons like this, question how come this stops at the "blues section"? is this in 2 parts?
"That's cool. You've got a killer sound man. What equipment are you using? "
I use a Line 6 Spider2 amp, pluged directly into my computer for the guitars. For the drums I used EZDrumer Bass is an old Ibanez borrowed from a friend...
That's my favorite lesson GMC so far....
Keep it up!
